I had a cup which I bought brand new back in 2003 and I loved it and always wanted another. Still think they look great today and for the money they can't be beat. I've now had 2 cups, 2 ph1 172 and a Williams 3. Fair to say I like my Renault sports lol.
The seller had lots of interest, even a boy from France! I've already contacted George to get new brakes all round. Already has braided lines. I budgeted a couple of grand all in. Still be a cheap cup at that money with the spec once belts done so I'm happy. Drives tight as a drum. Receipts...
So this happened today. Finally got myself a cup. I am over the moon with it . Drives fantastically and so much fun. An absolute bargain imo . Is booked in for service and belts depheser etc st rentec in portobello who are 5 mins from me as belts are obviously due. Will be getting wheels...

Some of the Tim stuff is cringe, like dressing up with night vision for the wheel refurb. Always turn out lovely restos though. Although I couldn't help notice at the end the gt turbo badge was missing from the tail gate, odd. I used to lust after a tungsten grey turbo in 1990 .
