dont like them de spoilered, has to be low level or mid level for me, not a fan of the high lever spoiler either. lol. im fussy that way. looks great in the pics, so refreshing to see an unmolested classic. just how they should be.
yeah still browse the classifieds when im bored seeing whats out there and stumbled across it. boy has had it for a few years but it hardly gets used i sent him a message spoke to him before on sidc he says he wants 4k minimum for it. top top money for a uk classic. is a really nice car though.
Also iv got strong affiliations with that car. Brought my son home from hospital after he was born in that car, remember it well, slowest I ever drove it.
It is. It's the same money I sold it for 6 years ago, lol. I'd say its worth 3500. Has Leda coilovers, big brakes, circa 275 bhp etc it's what I was looking for
My first scoob up for sale. Shame it wasn't 4 weeks ago I'd have bought it back. Loved this car, great spec and mint http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/subaru-impreza-uk-turbo/1044062027
good stuff, make sure those rear arches are kept nice and clean too thats where they go first. 300bhp in a classic is perfect imo, they are light cars and thats more than enough power from my experience, especially when running those 2 pots brakes of yours. i still want another mint classic...
dont think the gains are that much on an sti compared to say a uk turbo. they are already 280 out the box, with a remap maybe 300bhp. the turbo is usually the limiting factor. been down this route so many times with classic imprezas, end up spending a fortune. you will need a decat downpipe...
both look great. is the sti running the original 2 pots up front or have they been changed for the later spec 4 pots? might have to buy a classic as a weekend toy miss my old ones.
Engine mount is genuine gearbox mount was from cliospares non genuine but oe quality. Did u fit the dogbone mount too? That knackered engine mount explains the knocking I suspected it was knackered hence buying the new ones. Great work mate I'm missing the little go kart I'll have another no...
even specialists cost a fair bit more for imports, was circa £300 more for an import than a uk car for me when i was getting quotes. they are much better cars though out of the box. my standard v3 sti i had imported was just awesome to drive compared to a uk turbo.
Found it! Ok with your phone in the car press and hold the bt button on the hu, a little symbol will flash on hu top corner, then search for the hu on your phone in the Bluetooth settings, if it asks for a code enter 0000 and the symbol that was flashing should now stay lit and a phone icon...
