    BMW M3 CSL Wrapping

He's succeeded in making a CSL look like an Estoril M3 with CSL wheels. If that was intention, it looks good. Although i dont really see the point.

Another MCS. The track day toy.

Ha ha. I take it as a compliment!! This is a very similar car to the ShedTrophy in that respect, mechanically very good, cosmetically not so much :tearsofjoy:I actually sold all the fancy bodykit (GP bumper/aero side skirts) at the weekend as i didnt see the point in having beautifully painted...

So, on Saturday Ollie82 and I discovered why the rear toe was off so much ... essentially Minispeed hadnt fitted the wheel properly, so the spigot wasnt seated correctly, but they'd gunned it on anyways, albeit only finger tight. So when the wheel turned, it wobbled from side to side, changing...

    Yeah, they are similar(ish).

    Finally cleannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

They're M5 specific wheels, not the MV2's that are on the M Sports!?

Actually have no idea how it drives lol, brakes failed on the way home from 1320, then ive literally only drive it 2 miles through town since! First real hoon will be Donington, but of course Greg, no problem to take you out if you're coming!

So. Update time. Went to Goodwood for Hot Hatch Sunday, had a nice drive down there, but definitely missed the diff from the GP ... Then went to 1320 on Monday 13th for some work to be done. Strut tops were enlarged to allow easier camber adjustment. Angle grinder FTW!! From: To: Then...

    2005 E46 M3

Good lord. This thread makes me want to hand back the 135i (at great cost) and buy another M3. Excellent work Scutchio.

    E36 3.0 ITB Race Build

Nothing at the moment, don't have an older BMW to play with for the time being, although it does work on the mini i suppose... I've always just used trial & error - always amusing when you click something and the engine stops lol. Cue mild panic.

    E36 3.0 ITB Race Build

Genuinely impressed with this! Some serious levels of tech geekery going on. Just out of interest, have you found a proper guide for INPA anywhere, would love to know what ALL of the functions/variables actually mean.

    Abandoned Vehicles Thread.

Probably broke down and the owner ran out of money/couldn't be bothered fixing it anymore.

It is slightly smaller than the normal 3 spoke one - not much, but will measure them both over the weekend for you. They do come up occasionally, but only twice in the past year on MT, one was me selling one, one involved me buying one lol.

Yup, can change them to any colour etc. Early minis like mine are 5 pieces, later 3 (to help reduce the rattles). I followed this guide to change everything: http://www.mini2.com/forum/first-generation-interior-ice/153983-5-piece-dash-removal-diy.html Ha ha. Think the Trophy was better...

    Cub's Bargain E90 330i SE

Seems that ECU testing couldnt do the later mechatronics when i had mine though (i enquired after some clunking), mk1 TT fine, later units not so much. More the mechanical side of things that causes the problems though, unless you can find a DSG specialist, which arent exactly in every town.

    Cub's Bargain E90 330i SE

If they break, nobody really knows how to fix them lol. They also need an oil change every 40k to prevent it breaking. Ticking time bomb basically. Id go for a manual personally, but i just dont like issues that i have no way of preventing.

    Cub's Bargain E90 330i SE

I had one. Plenty of info in my "project" thread. Probably the best allround/daily car ive had, 135i only beats it through sheer pace tbh. Issues: Dsg box Steering rack (reason why i sold mine) Aircon condenser Porous heads on early models

Another MCS. The track day toy.

Yup, thats the main reason im doing it tbh! Much better social when a load of people go along!! And with that in mind, i just booked it into 1320 Mini for some tinkering a week Monday: 1. Replace supercharger belt 2. Install new camchain tensioner 3. Fit Whiteline Rear ARB (have already) 4...

See man driving a.... French whip?

Seats wise, theres some for £400 on minitorque. Theyre not CS trendlines (no harness holes) so dont carry the same premium. Lovely car though, nice price.

    E46 ///M3 Enhancement Detail & CarPro Reload 2014

No point spending £2k on brakes when the things that create friction between road/car are made of slippery cheese lol.

    M135i - Estoril Blue Loveliness

I think most new cars are built to a low cost tbh, certainly with BMW the quality has been reducing with each new model! You just have to compare an e36>e46>e90>F30 - yes, the dash looks prettier, but its made of much poorer materials :( Yes, i must admit, i was amused. Still, the engine in...
