@warwickstingray it would appear that I've got one of the bushes you require. Lol! I found it the other day when I was sorting out some other stuff. It came with my stiffshift moons ago.
You've trimmed the wiring loom too much mate. A lot of it runs via can communication signals and I'd say you've got over zealous with the trimming.
Where are you based?
You'll be alright with cp pistons mate. They have superior ring tension when compared to the likes of wossners. Even the oe Renault rings are better than wossners!!
Btw, not forgot about the videos. Been stupid busy doing stupid s**t so I've not had chance to look yet.
Lol! Thanks! Honestly though, they're genuinely not that bad. I'd be confident that I could teach near enough anyone how to do it. It all comes down to confidence and ultimately not being scared. Wiring scares everyone it seems - even blokes I work with run and hide from it!
Thanks for the kind...
Does the pump run when your turning the engine over? The power supply for the coil comes from one of the relays in the engine bay. Can't remember which one though. It's a single white wire about 4mm in diameter.
Minus the crease on the front edge of the bonnet from the nibbler. Lol! One day I'll upload the footage from our blast out as well (which is where to pics of the cup and the trophy came from)
Overall it's a tidy car imo. Not mint, not rough. It's also a cat c! I bought it as a cat c and carried out the repairs. It needed a new front bumper, n/s wing, n/s door and the n/s qtr pulling out slightly. I didn't care too much as it was always destined to be a track car not a show winner...
When you say the rear wiper is moving, is it doing a full sweep? Or is it doing little movements? If it's little movements check the earth points that are located under the dash top on the dash bar mate. Seen these come loose and cause problems like this.
Well I think it'll realistically see around 220-225bhp, but I'm not too fussed what it makes tbh. As long as it's more than 200bhp I couldn't care one bit. Be nice if it made more than the 230hp, but I'm certainly not chasing numbers.
I always like to do things a bit differently mate.
Raychem ordered for the wiring loom. I've also got a supplier of pretty much every plug used in these wiring looms. Anyone want a custom loom?! We have the technology.
Interesting. What's the costs like to enter? Do you have to have fire extinguishers/engine cut offs, or is it relatively relaxed? I can't see it mentioned in your spec list, so I'm assuming not. I quite fancy having a crack at it.
