Defo yeah. I’m sure nick would sell that extra support separately.
I removed the box fitted the new fork and refitted the box Then found that washer your talking about to fit the old fork 🤦🏻♂️😂
How long you had yours fitted and how you found it
Yeah defo, makes it solid.
The fork came from pure aswell. Has a rose joint either end of the cylinder. The kit also came with an adapter to fit the original fork if you didn’t want to swap the forks.
I’ve attached the clutch hydraulic cylinder now
Also trying to remove the heat shield with the PMS manifold but the top nut is a nightmare 😂
Also new bike for anyone interested,
Wasn’t looking for this but it popped up with great spec and condition and a good price so had to have it...
I’m on this BJT
My Clio weighs 850kg but that’s fully stripped fibreglass Bonnet, doors, boot and spoiler with plastic windows etc
Think you’d be looking more 900-1000kg for a regular track car type stripping
Good little conversion you’ve found either way 👌🏻
The bearing size was the main reason I went for the PMS/Twingo setup, obviously I’ve not tested the kit 🙄😂
Thanks, I follow your thread as very detailed in the finer details 👍🏻
That’s interesting.
I didn’t realise there was options to change these other than the Clio versions. That’s why I went for PMS billet Twingo kit.
What size discs and bearing you now running?
Been a bit quiet lately as I’ve had to sort my garage out. Needed some attention to the roof and guttering etc and then this led to painting the whole inside 😂
Clean and prepped the asbestos cement roof.
Painted and sealed
3 coats of white on the walls and also sanded and black...
Nice bike that 👌🏻
I’ve had to send the V10 back disappointingly. I paid strong money for it as it was perfect spec and colour etc and was advertised as needing nothing and ready to ride.
I got the bike a week before I was meant to go on holiday to wales with a bunch of mates on the bikes, so...
Your right 😂. I’ll use it for a bit of everything, it’s full carbon so pretty light. First full suspension bike I’ve had, normally on hard tails lol.
Judging by your picture your into bikes, what you got?
Nice, I like Orange stuff was a undecided between a five/alpine and Santa Cruz version.
I’m still looking for a decent hardtail frame to build up from scratch.
Mine setup currently on a manual quick rack from PMS.
It was great on the road and track etc even low speed was manageable. I’ve done 20/30 minutes stints at Mallory towards the end of day with pretty much empty track pushing hard and was prefect till the rear tyres got to hot and rear end let...
Yeah of course. I can reach it strapped in, I’m lanky with long arms. I’ve thought it through and planned it before drilling any holes 😂😂 I cant cut the stem of the switch down tho lol
There’s the rain light switch the other side aswell.
