that was about 18 months + ago i believe as i've been on cs wages for that long now, its still very expensive where i live, as i'm not in the office a lot these days though i went for something a bit further than 4 mins walk from work.
But no, money problems a thing of the past thank god, i...
its got nothing to do with the fact its thin that i want it, its because its an amazing picture and uses a lot less power.
The thin part is just a cool bonus, a talking point.
erm, yeah, you are a bit behind the times, i've not lived at home since 1995...........
I've been renting and living abroad (US and germany) since then.
I am also filthy rich, on cs wages, spunk loads of money on supercars, laptops and first class flights and now own a new flat as of...
no its not, the 4500 gains 100hz, DNLA and the cross media bar functionality, think it may have more HDMI's too, its certainly not just a chassis change.
indeed, no point in having an amzing tv and no surround sound, both as important as each other.
I haven't heard my built in speakers for a couple of years now.
oled is a long way off though at the moment, far too expensive and they can't make them reliably big enough.
i've watched the sony oled, and while its amazing, most HD pictures will look good at 11"!!!!
well the samsung is already on its 3rd generation, so i'd say thats not bad, the 6000, then the 7000 and last week the 8000 was released, available at comet.
they are 100 hz and i think the 8000 might be 200hz, i didn't detect any motion blur.
according to avforums they are great for gaming...
eh, you talking about this set as i thought the total opposite, colours were very lifelike, as good as it gets on a tv tbh.
The only thing better than this at the moment for colours is OLED, and they are £1500 for 11" so thats out!
not used spotify but from what i have heard, yes.
basically free streaming music vids, and you can create your own playlists, whats not to like basically.
not millions of songs though, but the selection they have got is very good.
is only about 30mb download too
they have a big line up of all the sizes in comet, bit of a feature and they just look amazing, and the picture is the best i have seen on any large screen ever, it really is good.
I'm a sony man as most know, but i've had a samsung 32" LCD tv for over 3 yrs now and i can't fault it, its not...
i NEVER listen to music in the house, only in the car, but i have had it on most of the afternoon, was great.
Even better though, got myself a dyson DC25 ball thing vacuum, wow, what a gadget, been taking it apart and putting it back together loads, love it, its engineering genius!
I've never...
anyone got one of these?
Just been in to comet and they look absolutely amazing!
They are sooooooo thin and the colours and picture look amazing, the blacks are very black too.
Samsung Series 7 7020 46" UE46B7020
Must say, I was set on the Sony 52" w5500 but this hs changed my mind...
was just about to start a thread about this, its fecking brilliant, FREE (they would charge you on xbox for this s**t;) )
Once you get the hang of the navigation its pretty easy, like the playlists and the selection of songs is brilliant, loads of 80's and all the chart stuff is there!
And I...
that looks f**king excellent, perfect infact, small enough to fold away which is a major plus.
Only thing is, is it worth £100!!!!!!!!
And do I go for the dual solution for £119 and get the fitting for the xbox too, not got an xbox steering wheel (so wish you could use the g25 with it!) but if...
I love people like you, c**ks who think they know it all, you are my hero!
6 months dear, is a very long time in the processor market, not outgoing at all! Its only just bloody been released, the 6 core, in relative terms.
and FYI, the X processor can use 'up to' 170w!!!! (ok i had remembered...
nothing concrete in there, jsut a fly away comment really, i would love to stats of the HP DL380G6 vs. the DL385G6 running vmware, that would be a good test!
i've thought about it many times, i just can't be arsed having to bother trying to find software to do what i want to do which works fine and is easy to find and works on windows.
Before vista OSX was probably the daddy, but with vista and 7, MS reaslly has a very decent OS!
Anyone ever have...
i like the added software, means i don't have to pirate it, having adobe photoshop included is great.
People don't mind a product breaking down as long as they are dealt with correctly when it does, thats where sony have got it right, i got amazing service from them on this repair, they checked...
i can sell you one tomorrow if you want, istanbul is in the DL585 G6, available now.
I can tell you though, raw performance, the 7460 still wins, but at the expense of running a stupid amount of power, they run at 175 watts i think peak, whereas the amd will bring in nearly similar performance...
so you've seen the benchmarks for that vs the amd 6 core then have you........
AMD won't have released something which is slower than the intel, they never do.....
i don't use it on my lap, its a desktop replacement, its not designed to be on your lap.
its designed for people who don't want a big box taking up space with a monitor and something you can't easily move around the house.
I can move mine where i want to and take it away with me for bluray...
yeah, its weird, some sites are saying £2800, others are saying £1800.
Mine cost £1800 a year ago, so i would be surprised if it was £2800, i really would.
just had mine back from repair, was 5 days inside the warranty and got really good service. I always buy sony, can't beat them in the...
