can I ask why you are going with HD-DVD?
won't it frustrate you that a lot of movies you might want will be blu-ray only?
thats why i bought both the ps3 and 360 to get both, i notice that samsung are now bringing out a proper dual player too by christmas.
only using the onboard drove though isn't it, the HD-DVD addon doesn't does it?
ALso, isn't it only using VGA and not component?
I am presumingl the HDMI cable will upscale when that gets launched over here later in the year.
i personally hate the heat and am counting the days until the nice cold weather comes back!
If you ever have MS questions you need answering though, you know where i am! ;)
which is why phones take an age to come out on orange as they wait until the phone is stable or have their own firmware.
it just seems that some people still have the old firmware and are experiencing problems, my orange firmware is great though.
i didn't offer it to him as we don't deal with small users as we deal with corporates so I didn't want to offer something I couldn't follow through with.
You only called him and checked it was the right product after I had pointed it out as no-one else seemed to pick up on it.
Also, I didn't...
you were about to sell him the wrong thing above though, typical sales person, sees a sale and doesn't really care whether its the right thing, just want to sell it.
I work for the UK's no.1 MS licensing reseller for a few years in a row now and we pride ourselves on knowing what we are talking...
you would have bought OEM, to buy an extra 5 user cals you are looking at this
http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=2VYK&SearchType=1&SearchTerms=cal+small+business&PageMode=3&SearchKey=All&SearchMode=All&NavigationKey=0
and yes, the cals are expensive, they include a lot of access...
i'm not expert ;) but it looks like the wrong product to me.
thats a VUP (version upgrade)
an extra 5 clients you need

depends how you license though, you either license per user or per device so depends how it was set up originally...
hmmm, i was having blue screening on vista and couldn't work out what it was, even did a memory test on the memory and it came up ok but i removed one of the sticks and it hasn't done it since so it was one stick of ram.
any chance you can put some other ram in there to test to see if it is that?
i've had my email but no bond as yet.
I got a couple of Spidey UMD's by registering my Jap PSP twice as a uk model, sony aren't very clever detecting these types of things.
because film it so 'high res' though to say, its higher quality than 1080p anyway so is going to be perfect when transferred to disc but it also depends on the type of film shot at and also the way the director wanted to shoot the film. take miami vice for instance, its very grainy, even on...
if you use hmv though, they are expensive for everything except the stuff they have in the sale, they regularly sell dvd's at rrp.
For the blu-ray discs i have bought I have paid between £7 and £17
cartoons do always look good but there are still good and bad cartoons, and happy feet is simply amazing.
David, why are you paying £25 a pop for any disc, I never pay over about £17 but most are under that.
no it didn't as it had no competition!!!!!
a price drop by a couple of retailers for easter is no big thing, the margins on them are probably quite good so they just wanted to boost sales over the easter period when most people would spend time at the shops browsing and might buy a ps3...
buy Happy Feet, I have just been wowed by the quality of this disc!
I have it on blu-ray on my ps3 and OMG, its the best transfer of any disc i have ever seen, absolutely amazing and defo a disc to own if only to show off why you have gone high def!
having it on both consoles is pointless.
a game developed for multi format should pretty much be the same on 360 and ps3 as they aren't going to develop a different version for both, they will just port it to the other.
the games to get if you have both are the ps3 only ones like f1 and...
but you can see who is online of your friends and you can send messages and you will be able to use the @Home feature which looks like it will be really good when it launches later this year.
You have played one game thats the same as the 360 version and you are basing your mind on that, you...
so you are basing a console on one game, you could have at least bought a decent one to base your jusdgement on like F1 or something.
Virtua tennis will be exactly the same as the 360 version so its the game you don't like, not the console!
by default RDP is disabled so you do have to enable it, not sure if its an option in w2k though, can't see why not, its not that old but i don't have 23k to try it sorry.
to enable it you right click on My Computer and click properties and then click on the remote tab to enable it to be...
