Mine sounds like its coming from the glovebox and beyong into the engine bay but it only deffo started when I changed headunits.

my loud metallic buzzing at 4,000 was my alpine head unit cage! ida x305? mines and x100, take the stereo out and go for a drive, if you find its that just dampen the cage before putting the unit back in.

Very best way is to buy a new badge and spray that one - a new one will go back on perfectly.

Re: 2 gay shaped clios at le mans 24hr races Most mk1 owners, I've found, seem to be incapable of liking any other mk/phase of clio. As much I loved my williams and still desperately want another one I do have the capacity to see (and own) a newer clio and not insult or laugh at it. :)

if you want a newer car get a 182, if you want to save some money get a 172 the manifold doesn't make an extra ten bhp, a cup is only faster if you're a better driver than the guy in the 182 and I personally think 182 exhausts look really tacky! In all honesty the reason I got a 172 over a 182...

really like this car, not a fan of the exhaust :o But the rest is great!
