k-tec as a company are slowly losing all respect i had gained from their good customer services by doing this :(
Theyre just catering for the other people out there, who they can make a profit from.
I know if i was running a...
whats the prices like?
id imagine its quite a pricey thing to have done. althou the quality looks great, never seen anything like that being done before
people will buy them thou, and even if people think they are chavy, if they sell, then thats plenty of cash for k-tec.
I cant see whats chavy about them, its not like its a cheap conversion.
Nobody said that the guy who is building his own lambo conversion on his mk1 clio was a chav
also, they dont give u an amp for the sub, so u gotta fork out some cash for the sub.
Thats very cheap thou, over half price from cel-direct, would be a bit iffy about it, whether its a US version or something...
well you have to put a certain value resistor across the airbag connector, thatll make the computer still think its connected.
Not sure on the value, im sure someone can tell you.
Pretty easy to fit a steering wheel, just use the boss kit (hopefully santa got you one with the wheel) and...
erm, when that was done it had a de-cat, k-tec exhaust system, induction kit.
my engine doesnt have a powersteering pump, so when it came out the factory it was around 80bhp. ones with power steering have around 75bhp due to the pump.
Since that Dyno test, its been chipped, ive yet to get...
spent around the 5k mark on mine, and im not finished yet. spent the 5k in 6 months lol
sounds awful pouring that amount of money into an old car, but i enjoy it, so aslong as im happy, it shouldnt matter either way
good choice to go for a smaller engined clio.
my mum still thinks the 1.4 ive got is nippy, and i scare her all the time in it when i have to drive her places lol.
Hope you sorted out all the problems u had with the engine
well as i said, dont trust the guage inside the car, check the dipstick for yourself.
Did the guy who sold u the car show u a receipt of the work done to repair this problem it had
when did u last top up the oil?
are there any oil patches where you park it, is it chucking out blue smoke?
Also whats the reading on the dipstick, as the guage inside is inaccurate

1 question thou, what type of...
took me 2 days, well around 8 hours, plus i was doing other things, can be done in 6 hours if u work hard on it, not a hard task as such, just fiddly.
Worth doing thou, the heat from a new one is brilliant, very hot.
You need to change your heater matrix, its clogged up, and i very much doubt rad cleaner will remove any of the gunk.
i had the same problem, and when i got it out, and changed it, i tried using a pressurised water system to blast the stuff out, wouldnt budge at all.
Heater matrixs are...
damn mate, sorry to hear of your misfortune with the car. but atleast your still in one piece,
Even thou it was a very special car, your life is always of more value.
I reckon u should buy it back, and either repair it, or atleast sell the stuffs.
I guess i wont be seeing you down...
think the slowest clio has got to be the mk1 clio 1.1 day and night edition (very rare) lol, cant imagine how slow that is, althou the 1.2 8v would follow shortly
