Been meaning to ask this for a while - how the hell do you easily easily (Easily?!) tell if your engine, be it all of it or the bottom end is a 1.8 or a 2.0l?
The reason I ask it when I bought the car I noticed that the engine had a 2.0l sticker on the top, I removed this and it has 2.0l...
1996 N Valver 87,654 (saw that the other day - amused me...) about 10k a year thereabouts...
im the third owner of the car and was looking at the history - the original owner gave it to the second owner 2 1/2 years ago with 24k on it (I kid you not), second owner gave it to me with 78k on it...
Agree with the aggresive front end on a mk1 - like the fact that the grille looks like a ph2 2 valver or willy one.. nice touch I feel...
Id have a mk1 for the rarity and the fact it was the original version but that interior always puts me off - its sooo girly compared to the mk2 - I know...
I really should get off my dads insurance!

Is a Valver classed as a RenaultSport car - strange question I know but a mate of mine gave me some lovely RenaultSport decals (exactly like this link but without the girly clio badge...
Everytime i go above 65-70 on the motorway the bloody valver sunroof kind of raises up if you will, you carn hear the whistling of the air outside - it stops if I hold the leccy sunroof switch but after a few minutes it tends to whistle again - is this common on some of yours? its never leaked...
2,3 and 4 were the same on mine - sorted it all in 2 hrs the day I picked it up!
Drivers side adjuster was out - garage did it for free - free clock and leccy switch too from the scrappies - waited 10 mins to pay no-one shows - f**k em!
I think a few months down the line someones got to bring a 172mk2, Cup and 182 to a track and sort all these out good and proper...
fastest in a straight line and fastest round a track (no mods allowed!).
Then Ill decide on my future sl*g...

they look really good in the rain - polished kind of but not too much if you know what I mean!

thinking about willy wheels in silver but i prefer the look of standard ph2s on a valver - not keen on the f1s have to be on the right car...

Thats a thought I suppsoe - know what peeps mean about the wheels looking too small if theyre badly chosen and i was thinking rally sl*g but doubt it would look much kop on a Naples valver!
Just coming back from the shops and ive seen two valvers! never see any round here!
Anyway both were wearing shiny un-standard(!) alloys... On the way home I felt quite pathetic on mine (and you know how I love standard rims..)
Basically can anyone recommend some nice alloys for the valver...
