I don't understand why Renault would spend so much money on developing the 197 if they knew it wasn't going to compete with the 182. I feel Renault haven't gone out for high end speed, because you simply can't use it. When renault develop "cup" packs for the 197 and make it a little lighter...

I had the same mate. Guy giving it large at the lights, i will easily the quickest in a straight line, and then he decided to get on my arse, dropped down to 3rd, and we hit a few bends, it was as good as over from that point. I sniggered at him at the lights, cos i know they're cack. Tyson.

Isn't 50 litres 11 gallons? I don't understand why my warning light usually comes on a the 9 gallon mark (40 miles to go usually), when there is 2 gallons remaining? I usually continue to run it, even after the 'miles' have dissapeared, but it still doesn't make sense! Dodgy trip-computer! Tyson.

Saw a blue 197 in my rear view mirror, SHE turned off, so i did a 3-point in the road, and chased after her. I'm sure he was 'testing' it, as he didn't jumo at the challenge. Glued to the diffuser, but then again, my 182 is opened up very nicely.. Nice review though, but i'll keep my 182 until...
