It's safe to say it was not my most relaxed moment. The arb and the sporlines and Mark fish mounts are without a doubt money well spent :)

Yeh all mods on the car have been fitted by me and a friend. The arb was a pretty easy to fit really. Undo shock bottom bolt, built up links onto the shock, put the bar in, bolt back together. (in very simple form). Comes with some good instructions and pictures to follow

Yeh a really good time thanks. I now have a spare set of wheels with yokahoma a048's on. But my first few track days I did on my road tyres and all was good. As for advice just give the car a good checking over, brakes, tyres, coolant etc. Tuition is always recommended if it's your first...

The problem for me was that it was the day after a day at castle Combe so wanted to check the car over after tracking it

I already had a pair of DS2500's fitted when i bought yours. Those are being saved for Brands in a few weeks along with another set i aquired lol. I'll just use the newish ones ive got in there just for tomorrow. Its only 15 minutes and not a whole days of abuse.

My plan of action is to get sound tested as soon as we get there and get the briefing done. I'm out at 9am though so I ain't got much choice there anyway. I think the 2nd session is at 10:15 iirc

I cleaned mine but didn't spend a massive amount of time on it as it's going to rain tonight. I hope it's dry for9am though for track time :S

What time is the first track session booked for?

I only had mine changed in january, about 3 years later then the service schedule recommends. It could of snapped the day after I had it changed or it could of gone on for years. The point is you just never know.
