I had the same problem, the only way I could start my car was with Mike@Rentech's CliP diagnostic laptop. I paid £16 for the access code to start the car so I could get it to Mikes and around £90 + vat for a new transponder from Renault France. I feel your pain!

Nice arse ;) I don't see how 17" rims can make an RS Clio into a blamonge as some people like to state. Bigger wheels can have some advantages i.e rolling radius is greater so a higher top end can be achieved at the cost of acceleration. MPG is also slightly improved. It's horses for courses...
