Windy gun is the easiest way to get them off. Take it to a garage and get them to crack it off and nip it back up for you.

I've had mine on for well over a year could be closer to two years now and the only issue I have is the locking nuts are slightly rusting.

They are a nightmare to get out. There's a guy over on meganesport that sells a pin kit that's a different design and metal so it doesn't corrode and seize to the caliper.
