Any simple, yet effective engine mods?

Plus - by the looks of it he already has a 182!

Any simple, yet effective engine mods?

No such thing as a cup manifold. The 182 4-2-1 manifold is supposed to be better than the 172 4-1 manifold. If thats what you meant.

    200bhp in a 172?

Fair enough. I wish you all the best in your quest for 200!

    200bhp in a 172?

Like I said on the first page, to get 200bhp NA you need to add throttle bodies or an Rs2 manifold to your current set up. I don't think anyone has said it can't be done have they?

    200bhp in a 172?

Mapped at Ktec yar? From my limited reading on here to get 200bhp you need cams + throttle bodies or an Rs2 inlet.

    ***How much is it worth?***

Is it a cup or cup - packed? I'd say a ff RB 182 is worth £2500 all day, even with 80k miles!

    Jamie's boosted bean

Yes pal, helix paddle clutch and release bearing with the standard cover. Coming off soonish though - going down the 02m route. Can't see my box lasting too long with this much power LOL
  24. George182

    Jamie's boosted bean

Not much heavier - but from my experience in the last week or so (just got mine back from a turbo conversion), they operate more like an on and off switch than a progressive clutch!
  25. George182

    Jamie's boosted bean

Only problem is the paddle clutches are not very nice to use.. But yes I'd say if you are looking to run boost (soon) then go for it.

    Jamie's boosted bean

Looks great! Boost is thoroughly good fun.
