To be honest mate, a lot of the boys on here make a day trip to one of the specialists like Fred@BTM in Birmingham, it's more than worth the effort in my mind to make sure the job is done properly.

Confirmed. OP: I must say that my experience is slightly different in so much as my car felt instantaneously more powerful and responsive with an insatiable appetite for revs, I've had the TDF setup on the car for about a month now and I wish I had done it sooner tbh. The car is so much nicer...

Hello! Mine is in 4 pieces I think, with a load of zip ties doing their best to hold it together

I ran a samco bend with both the standard filter and uprated 80mm CAF (with the standard CAF and all other pipework removed) and then without a CAF at all and honestly didn't notice any difference in noise or power
