Make sure the steering wheel hasn't got a lot of play in it or you will either need a new column or get the original one welded which I had done to my one. Interiors wear very well very rare to see badly worn bolsters oh and they are THE comfiest seats ever. As mentioned above the gearboxes...
Could possibly be balljoints as well as shocks. I had similar issues and changed my balljoints and it's cured. If your front shocks are leaking too they are around £100 new from Renault.
Sorry for hijacking your thread mate, Fred I'm thinking about doing some track days this year I've got brand new 172 cup shocks all round with new eibach sportlines, eibach camber bolts and a Whitline arb. What would be the best setup camber wise?
Long overdue update.
So I fitted a Whitline arb to the car today not got any pics but I'll try and upload some over the weekend. Set it at it's hardest setting and went a blast up the back roads, nothing less than impressed by such a simple piece of kit. It's really tightened up the rear end...
