They were huge cars in their day but it's almost exactly the same length as a current shape Mondeo (5mm longer) and 100mm narrower than the Mondeo. Just shows how much cars have grown over the last 30 years.
How do you say Renault? Rennow or Rennolt? I'm not having a go, I just think it's funny how certain things we say as they would in the native language and others we don't.
After a quick Googs it seems that the Japanese pronounce the z more like an s, so it would be Impressa or given how they pronounce gaijin letters it's Inpuressa.

It's fine, good spec for the price but I prefer SUV looking cars in darker colours. I'd prefer a Kuga myself but you probably won't get one for that price.
It's a perfectly adequate family car, but you'd probably get better reactions on Mumsnet than on a car enthusiast forum.
A couple of weeks after I got mine I went on a long weekend in the Lakes and it was the perfect conditions for having fun in the car. If you do get one I don't think you'll regret it.
They're great cars, I really enjoy mine. I have the performance pack so it has the LSD and around country roads it's a hoot, it does have the turning circle of a barge at low speed though.

On my way back from the supermarket I passed a 4th generation Pontiac Firebird and some wierd little soft top Jeep on a Q plate, it was about the size of a Mini Moke but was badged as a Jeep and looked like a shrunk Wrangler.
