    Steering felt ALOT better after i had it welded no play in it at all.

    Take the plastic bend off the bit that is connected to the throttle body and the airbox. It should be secured either end with jubilee clips so all you need is a flat heat screwdriver to unde them.

    Your throttle body might be stuck open mate i'd check that first.

    Headlight correction - will a dremel help?

    That meguirs restoration kit is pretty good i used it on my ph1 headlights and it took all the dullness out the lens. it's not as perfect as having them corrected properly but it's good enough.

    You could have got your steering rack welded up mate it's a common problem on the mark 1's i had to get my williams rack welded 40 quid for a new one is a bargain though. plans sound good too.

    You sure will? i was told the pipe that comes from the induction elbow on the ph1 goes to the icv?

    Nope that pipe is connected to your idle control valve.

    Yeah i've read a few good reviews about the whiteline arb mate not really bothered about one tbh i hardly ever use the car and when a do i dont really drive it hard.

    looks really nice mate i'm not to keen on the yellow calipers tbh they would look better silver but if you like them thats all that matters.
