I will get mine sent out tonight mate, i only got my new inlets fitted the other night and i have had a high idling problem which i had to sort as well, so the inlets should be back to you before the end of the week.

Hi all, i need to adjust my engine mounts as there is now a lot of vibration coming through when accelerating. The mount was loosened in order to get the bottom part of the inlet manifold off. So when i loosen the mount do i pull the engine forward then tighen up the bolts?

Did the revs stay at 3k when braking/changing gear?

It didnt do it before tho, so i would have thought that had ruled that out.

My 172 has started idle quite high ever since i took the throttle body & idle control valve off for cleaning. I sprayed some carb cleaner around the 2 and since the idle revs are revving to 2.5k when stopped and around the 3k mark when braking/changing gear. ANy ideas what could be wrong...

The car has failed mot for trackrod ends, two balljoints, hole in the drivers sill. Mind you am tempted as its on my side on of the water lol

Recieved mine this morning. Hoepfully get them fitted this week and get the old ones sent to you on monday. Cheers MArk.
