I think Im gonna glue it it down. It'll do as a temporary measure. I suspect I may need a new windscreen soon as I had a stone chip repaired, but it has started to grow again! :(
This is classic Renault quality with this seal, I don't know why it is fastened down properly, its just the corner...
For months I have has this trouble and wondered what is was. I assumed because I had an open Induction kit fitted, and it was the wind blowing over it (like when you blow over a bottle) I will take a look at this tonight. Is it this bit of the seal? Sorry about cr*p pic
Yeah can see what you mean. Im no expert, but were the anthracite turinis designed for the 205 tyre rather than the 195? Or are they available in both fitments? :dead:
Induction kit will make more noise but add no power due to being open and liable to heat soak,:dapprove: Maxogen which is a semi-sealed Induction kit (More like air box with panel) so you get more noise than box but not as much as an open Ind kit :)
I’ve had a 57I K&N fitted on mine for over two years now. I bought it for the noise and was unaware of heat soak issues at the time I bought it. I have looked to improve cold air feeds, but on a recent rolling road trip the car put out the same power as a standard 182, so don’t expect any gains...
I thought about waiting for the N95 but couldn't be bothered. I did have the N70, and have just upgraded to N73. It has better camera, longer battery life and screen is much sharper. Very pleased!
