Ive heard this somewere else, so i looked online last night and i couldnt find anything for it online, is it just instore? - Also what price am i looking at?
oh right, i thought they were legal, do you know anywere online i can order plates that wont have a bad logo on it or anything that stands out on it, my plates have got the URL of the place they bought it from pasted along the bottom :(
I think pressed plates will look much better on my car tbh when finished, although still unsure, just want to find out if there legal, and if not, why?
Mine came off ok, but mines an 02 Mk2PH2, couldnt do it with one hand but the little bit more strain with the right arm and it just unscrewed, my new CTR one should be here in the morning :)
How did you get on at the scrappy?
Yeh scrappy is always damn cheap for little bits for this :)
If the cars are stacked i hope its on the top for you as otherwise you wont get to it with another car ontop.
Good luck Jame
They should all just screw off, not trying to sound funny but are you unscrewing it the right way?... Theres another thread on this yestoday infact were everyone told him to unscrew it, and it snapped at the bottom so now he is faced with removing the bit that joins the roof, so just be careful...
I tryied removing mine the other day just to see how its done, got a CTR one coming in the post, i managed to just unscrew it with both hands, no glue on the thread from what i could see?
