Sounds reparable to me, We had the end of a welding rod (after bring used and shortened) go into my clio's front driver side wheel, didnt just go down it went BANG, and was on the floor in seconds, luckily was driving onto my front lawn to park so didnt damage the rim when it came to contact...

I have no realised after standing out in the pissing down rain after locking the car, the light goes out after 60 secs, so maybe its just to let you know you have actually locked the car, then it goes out, so no more problems, Cheers Guys :)

that would be why lol, the sensor cant feel any or low oil against it, infact its fine, most of the time, thats why new engines are built with baffles or breakers in the sump, so as you go around a corner hard it dont slosh everywere, you want to be careful when driving it hard if it comes on...

Normally because your sump dont have a baffle in it, so when cornering theres no oil level being measured by the sensor so it tells you to stop, you go straight again and it can measure the oil ;)
