Thanks a lot for the help guys very much appreciated, nice to have help from people who know. I live in Stoke on Trent so anywhere near there i could take it, so Mike i doubt i would be able travel down there lol.
Na it happened before the sparks, i suppose changing the leads is the next...
Thanks for the reply mate, i forgot to mention i changed sparks last week to NGK platinum ones so no joy there.
This is killing me now lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been to renault holdcroft today for them to have a look at my problem and the fact my car randomly cuts the power out at different revs.......................
After being in there for 2 hours and also demonstrating the problem to the mechanic (he did agree the defo was a problem) the computer...
Well i claimed as my mate drove off a bridge after hitting black ice and i dont really give a f**k if insurance goes up because of it. I feel i am very much in the position to claim, especially as i broke my shoulder and nearly died lol.
As for pricks claiming whiplash from a little bump, yeah...
LOL, quite a biased view there. Think you need to move on a bit, the willy is a quality car dont get me wrong but tbh i would much much rather own a 172/182/197 any day over one. Id like one as a track car maybe but for everyday use not a chance.
As for it looking better, handling better and...
I saw a totally mint one the other week, full history, no marks at all, inside was as new more or less with new seats. All the right mods, 58k on the clock.
It didnt need anything doing to it and he had at least 8k of bills etc for work done and all the mods.
Except he wanted 5k for it...
Good ones are so rare though now and the fact that its never usually cost effective to sell them based on the money spent maintaining etc, people seem to be more often than not keeping them as second cars. Even mint ones seem to go for 3kish not really worth selling imo.
I think the fact that you used the word "daddy" was the spark for that little comment mate not the fact that you suggested that the 182 is a marked improvment over the Williams. Which imo it is but also imo is not an improvment on the 172 in most areas.
Like you say everyone has there own...
I think theres already pics about of it but i cant find one right now, im sure one has been on here already.... a white one if i remember. Looked much better
Similar problem hear mate, except in mostly in 2nd and 3rd and not always the same revs.
Booked in at renault newcastle (stoke on trent) for thursday hoping it will show up
Its really f**king annoying
Welcome but save the racing for the track mate to many cars are getting wrote of lately.
Saw a 51 plate type R wrapped around a lamp post on the way home from the gf's house last night and across the road (up the path) there was a Saxo VTS. f**k knows what happened but it was pretty bad...
I cant beleve the prices people are letting these go at now its a joke. No matter how much s**t i get off my cup i dnt think im ever going to sell it.
Seems a decent one considering the market but i suggest you view/drive it before making your mind up
Whats the point if you want a 172 cup? isnt the point of it not to have climate and stuff?
I know they also made a limited run of silver cups also that had the option of climate etc but ive never seen one and think it looks no where near as good in silver.
But thats cus i love blue lol
My corsa had great build quality to be honest and i never had a problem with it in 2 and half years ownership didnt use the warrenty once. The customer service when i needed servicing etc was excellent.
Renault however on the other hand.... car build quality is shockingly bad and the customer...
