Bottom line is they generally are illegal, as most cars would fail an emissions test with a decat. If your car was tested at the roadside and failed you would have a non roadworthy car, which I would of thought would mean that the Police could seize the vehicle and could give you a hefty fine...
P Zero's are good. Have a search on here, there are far cheaper tyres out there that offer good performance.
If your tyres are nearly gone though they will be awful in the wet, especially T1R's. no tread left to move the water away etc.

Three lap race on the ring, Chris and Stu were about half a lap in front as usual and I had stashed it into the barrier and was a bit damaged.
