Any opinions on fitted mud flaps for my 52 plate 1.2 16v? I have the full renault bodykit and painted bumpers so can only put the back ones on and they aint painted so dont know if they look daft? Opinions please!

Only really noticed it this morning as it was saying 8 degrees and their was ice all over the car!

Spoken to manager of bodyshop who has one of the best names in Scotland. He says that if not done correctly and bumpers not prepared correctly then paint will flake off with stone chips etc. Better to buy side moulds and handles from 172 that are already prepared. He phoned Renault for me and...

Cheers for the info RobFenn. Want to lower but cant really afford to do it with dampers. Whats the difference between the KTR/JR and Spax?

What kit have you got RobFenn? Was thinking about 35mm drop on PI springs but still bit confused as people say there is problems and others say there isnt. Surely dampers cannot be forced to travel any faster than designed? Would simply mean that the ride would be much harder than normal?

But they werent trying to sell the dampers, just the springs?

Emailed KTEC and they said their springs would be fine on standard shocks. R they just trying to sell their product??

Can anyone tell me if they have had any problems lowering a 2001+ clio 35mm or 60mm with new springs on their standard shocks? Heard that this can seriously damage the shocks? Cheers

Does anyone have a 2001 facelift clio with full renault bodykit and has lowered it? Was just wondering how low they have gone & if they have had any problems with the front spoiler hitting the ground. Was thinking either 35 or 60mm springs. Cheers
