Yeah I know what you mean daveJM about the difference in engine behaviour. For some reason though, mine sometimes feel quicker when I first get it going :S Maybe something to do with coolness of the air in the morning. Sam

How long should you let the car warm up for before giving it beans? I always understood it was when the temp guage came to the point at where it stays but I was then told this is just water temp and oil takes much longer to warm and lube the engine properly. Thanks Sam
