Got a call from Motor Depot and getting it at 12pm today!! So happy.

Looks nice. I just picked up a ff 182, 60k, 2owners, racing blue. They changed cambelt, put new tyres on, service, mot, new front discs and pads, near rear left caliper, and i paid £4600 from a dealer..just to give you an idea on price.

Which one produces the best gains?

Yellow callipers! Interesting...probably the best colour to go for tbh on a racing blue...not sure if many other colours would suit it. You gonna get some pics up?

Well, went to get this today as planned, turned up, waited..then got told it failed its mot due to the rear left brake caliper not clamping or something. But i have looked at the parts manifest and all looks ok, had 4new tyres, new section for the exhaust, new front discs and pads. So not too...

Spoke to motor depot and they said as its all done internally they won't be able to give me a parts manifest

After reading all the problems people have had getting cambelts changed at Non-Specialist dealers, and with me picking mine up today with having a cambelt change, im actually worried they will have screwed up! IF i ask for a parts manifest and it doesnt have new grommets and aux tensioner kit...

i woulddnt even know what to look for..ill ask for a parts manifest and see what they say...as its been serviced and mot;d at the same time id assume they should make a manifest too? and if they arent on there would you ask them to do it?

is there anyway to check if the tensioner and grommets were replaced? or just take there word for it

is anyone going to these? want someone to take my car for a blast to check it drives/feels ok as the cambelt is being changed today but not by a specialist.

i wouldnt..comes with a year free warranty too which covers all the cambelt work etc too

Yeah i know! point taken...at least i know the cambelts being freshly done and all properly checked over etc!

bit annoyed as got called up and it actually needed its cambelt doing, so thats been done at the moment, 2new front discs and pads and 2 new tyres. Get it tomorrow at 2pm..although i suppose i should be happy the cambelts being done!
