Because if you want it to be faster, you can either bin it, or change the processor to a newer one (that one's dual core - whilst not one of the Core2 range the Dimension 9100 doesn't support those). Faster/more processors = faster computer. :) Either that or bin it and start again.

W880i does it but only recently and it's as old as the 880i, so I can forgive it. More fool you for buying a handset under contract, pay for the handset on it's own from the interweb and get a SIM-only contract. The handset doesn't get molested by the operator and you get the manufacturer's...
