Just picked up the latest fast car magazine. Theres a mk1 in there with a mynheer kit. Looks well weird! Doesnt help with all the dents and dings on the car
Im running 17's on mine too, but they are not white. Looking at yours tho, I might be getting white wheels soon!
I have also got the halos but they are the black ones. The mk1 is still a proper good looking car
Its hard to know what to do I guess. Its catch 22. Im running 17s on mine which seems to slow it down a hell of a lot, even with a cat back exhaust and induction kit. But on the other hand at the mo, mines just for looks til the conversion
On my mk1 clio, when I push the clutch down, put it into gear, then lift the clutch, theres a slight knock. But only when I lift the pedal and it bites. Does anyone have an idea as to what this could be please?!!!!:S
you would need archwork done all round. on the rear, you'll need to trim the bumper a tad and the front, remove the inner arch liners. you may get away with it on the front, but ive got 17s and you may need the same amount of work as mine
I have the same car as you, in the next couple of months with a bit of luck, I will be having a renault 5 gt turbo engine conversion. Pricey, but not that common!
I originally had 15's on my mk1 then went to 17's, the difference is immense! Slower acceleration, harsher ride etc. If it wasn't for the look of it, I'd go back to smaller
