Gutted for you mate. What colour you going for on the respray and how much are you expecting to pay? If I got mine resprayed i'd go for black, surprisingly rare-ish colour on our car and even the ph1 172's. If I was you I'd consider a 172 bumber or at least your new one colour coded. How about a...
I hadn't either mate until I saw before and after pictures on here. The difference is minimal but so effective. Just tidys the look of the car up nicely in a simialr way that clear side repeaters do.
I was going to suggest those aswel. What about silvervision indicator bulbs though to get rid of the orange tinge. Another subtle one you could consider would be ph2 rear lights?
Chris n Nic...
I'm getting turinis and colour coded on mine asap. If I get a couple of pics up on Sunday after it's had a clean could you do that for me on photoshop please!?
Yeah, i'd say a scrap yard for the double optics. Can't imagine you'd pay much more than £40 for them, but thats just a guess really. It would be worth getting the other bits while you are there coz scrap yards are good for haggling and that would give you more scope for a haggle!
Yeah I know, me too. A mate was telling me the other day of some work he had done on his old red, 5 door punto. He had accident damage and basically needed the dent pulling out and pretty much a full side respray. He said it was a top notch job (I saw this car without knowing he'd had it done...
Nice mate. I think it's lowered just nicely in my opinion. How about the double optic headlights with silvervisions, clear side repeaters and a colour code next?!
I'm looking for somewhere myself in the very same areas for a colour code mate, I'll let you know if I find anywhere and vice versa if you don't mind.
I'm getting some clear side repeaters myself and Silvervisions/sivertechs and blue vision headlights shortly. Aswel as either 16" Turinis or Pro...
Oh yes and another thing, would both these types of wheels go straight on Mk2 Ph1 or would I need spacers etc?
Still waiting for the bloke to get back to me with the pics but if they do only look like minor scuffs i'm having the turinis.
Yeah, I've just started getting this, it is the brake fluid. I know it needs doing but I'm just too lazy to go and get some! While we are the subject can anyone recommend any?
It's a pain isn't it! You were very, very lucky!
^^Kully, Thats what i'm thinking. If I get them and i'm not that impressed I could poss sell them singularly for a profit or have a go at a refurb.
I recently lost out on a set of turinis off ebay and so after much debating I finally decided to get a new set of pro race 1.2 in high Power silver, with tyres (195.45.16) and delivered for about £560
However I have just recieved a second chance offer for the turinis (wheels only) on ebay...
My renewal is £1,400 at 18yrs old with a years no claims.
On virgin insurance it is just £1000 :approve:
Can't wait for my last payment next month, then get two months off and it will then only be £80 a month!! half of what i'm paying now :)
16's mate.
Does anyone now anywhere that has a good stock of alloys to view in store in the north-west area. Ideally, Warrington, Liverpool, Chester or the closest to these locations??
Nice one mate, that's what I thought roughly, price-wise. Pity you say that about the sideskirts as they are the some of the nicest i've seen. Anyone recomend any other simialr ones i.e. subtle and sophisticated?
