Stick with the standard. Any higher up the range and you start to lose light on them.

Good cars, just slightly slower than a 182 in a straight line. Not too smart around the corners though and suffer from terrible brake fade.

That sounds like a bit of fact bending to me. It might use that much power, but whats to say how much capacity the battery has? You could start the car 1,000 times and it might not empty the battery. Oh and I'm not having a go at you! My post seems a bit negative but its not meant that way.

The thing is though they are really tetchy about doing things if they think it might go wrong. They don't know about any cars and only go from experience. The experience in your case was that they did one a few days ago and buggered it up so they assume the same might happen again.

Sucks that it happened. I'd hate for anything to happen to mine. I don't understand why you'll be getting rid of it as soon as you get it back if you can afford it. Repairers nowadays don't send cars out unless they are in as good shape or better than how they were before the accident...
