try a bit of smoothing on the original bumpers and get it colour coded this will make you stand out

Janspeed systems are quite quiet had one on an old astra gte only became raspy when hitting 4k+ revs a really nice sound aswell cant be described you have to hear one

Like all the other said check the light for the immobiliser next time it happens i had a similar problem where i washed my car then locked it up for the night about 4 hours later i went out to see the immobiliser...
RESULT
used wifes hairdryer to make sure none of the relays had got a bit of damp in then disconnected the +ve terminal on the battery reconnected and BINGO i have my car back
Agree with JonC a/c will not work if the ambient temp is low
I get a funny smell when i put my a/c on like rotten eggs been back twice but they cant smell it may have to take it back again anyone had this problem?
Washed my car tonite and locked it up eith remote have just been out and the remote will not unlock the car also the immobiliser light no longer flashes and is on constantly can anyone help me to rectify this asap need it for work in the morning

Get some from a scrappy then you wont have this problem and if you feck it up youve got some spares surely cant be much to buy , what colour is your car you may be able to get some already colour coded think the newer clios/meganes have them as standard
I fitted H&R springs on my clio (not cup) and the drop was immediately noticable and they are only supposed to lower by 30mm but they do say to leave it a few weeks to let them settle
Im going to replace the speakers in my 99 clio and wondered which is best/easiest, im only putting a set of alpines in, so not likely to be entering competitions just want to improve the sounds a bit

I had the same prob with cat at 17k knackered got it at cost to give renault their due and it is a 4yr old car still got warranty but exhausts etc not covered
Managed to get two of them off they are really stuck on
local national tyres got one of them off local renault dealer got another one off but have also tried by hand with lots of pressure but no luck

I have a set of McGard locking wheels nuts that are completely stuck on my car does anyone know the best/easiest way to get them off?
