There is a particular tool you need to do it, and Renault don't even supply them. If I were you I would just book it in with a specialist and get it done properly, your mate may be good, but if he doesn't have this tool he will probably struggle. Not worth doing it wrong IMO.

It wasn't bad in my silver one, but once you make it loud, low, nice wheels etc it does attract more attention. But moving over and letting them go is the way forward. You know you could pass them/thrash them, but don't need to show them that too. Let them think they are 'rudebois' lol

I think it kind of depends on the colour, some of them don't attract too much attention but as far as I can gather the brighter ones, LY/RB etc do. Tends to be the Corsa/Saxo boys that try and nudge you into putting your foot down, usually they don't realise that the 172/182's aren't too slow.
