I had A048's on my lightweight Westfield - acceptable in mild/dry weather on normal roads. Absolutely useless at the slightest glimpse of moisture.
Might have different characteristics on a heavier car though.
Tried COD3 but didn't like the arcade feel of it (nothing like farcry / HL2 on PC, which are my favourite FPS')...so going to get GOW instead.
How has everyone got GOW already??
Thanks for heads-up - just booked a test drive in a 197 (225's weren't available at my local crappy dealership)...best of all, I've booked it for the day that my car is being serviced. Sweet!
I also have the 32" R74 - picture is very good imo, blacks are decent.
Two negatives though; the dynamic contrasts function is sh1t and should be turned off (makes the TV look like its about to break as there's a delay between the scene changing and the TV reacting), and the sound (imo) is...

Because you don't realise how bad RH's they are until you've owned something built properly? ;) :quiet:
Disclaimer: I made the comment on what I've read on the forums - I have no experience with non-caterfields.
Caterhams and Westfields are very similar in terms of quality of build and components, Caterhams have the better name so they cost more (think Golf vs. Focus).
I've heard the Robin Hood's, etc. are shockingly bad - but I've never seen one to comment first hand.
I downloaded some HD clips from the Microshaft WMV site (here) and played them via my x360....the clarity is amazing. I thought I'd seen the good sh1t by playing xbox games through it, but video looks very sharp and the colours are spot on. I'll try and do some 480 vs 720 comparisons later to...
