No offence (the PS skills are very good) but this looks like all the other chav'd up plastic stick-on kits for every 1.2 Corsa, Fiesta, Clio, etc, even down to the lexus style rear lights. Quite apt that you've picked a bog-standard Clio to work on then.
Sell it and buy a high-quality (Image Dynamics or something like that) sub that will weigh less than two 12's, take up less room and probably sound better.
I don't agree, that's just something people say to justify having worse performance (i.e. ugly bird, nice personality). I've been very impressed with both xbox and ps2 games in the last year or two. Remember how people slated the xbox controllers when it was first released?
^^ Nope, that would happen normally.
Try doing doughnuts in a big empty space. If you can keep the front wheels on the same spot with the back doing wild circles, you have an LSD. If, however, your car just goes flying off the spot, you don't have one. :)
Just thought, another way of...
Hi chaps,
I'm changing the brake fluid on the car (182), so I've undone the rear-furthest bleed nipple and attached my non-return valve on there. Trouble is, after 20 minutes of brake-pedal pumping I've got a tiny bit of fluid, and lots of air.....is this the biggest ever air-lock or am I...
They don't have to insure you. A lot of insurers put up their premiums or change the types of drivers they insure. TBH, the only annoying thing is the NCB proof, which I can image would be v.frustrating!
The tighter the corner, the easier it is to 'c**k it up'. The front will grip hard, and the back will feel very light indeed...slight bit of lift-off mid corner should guarantee success.
Or a big crash.
Good to see another ex-M Roadster owner making the switch. Its weird how you can save so much petrol whilst still having the same amount of fun :)
Good luck selling the beemer (if you are) :)
Don't worry mate, almost all manufactures power figures are measured in perfect conditions, with perfect engines and 100+ ron fuel....
...most peoples cars don't make the claimed output on the rollers (when stock).
Both cars have 148 lb/ft, the diesel obviously reaches that peak sooner. Ignoring the chassis setups, if the 182 wasn't allowed to go above 5krpm, they would be very similar in a straight line.
Above 5krpm it would be completely different.
