Hello and welcome
getting all the info well in advance is a really good thing, you'll know exactly what you're looking at when you come to get one, good luck for when the time comes, you won't regret buying one of these beauties, 172's or 182's.
After looking again i thought my spoiler looked a little bigger too so it must be the high lift spoiler, as for the splitter, apparently Fernando Alonso developed this during his time with renault, if you look under the car in front of the front wheels there are ducts which supposedly help pull...
Similar details to you except i'm early thirties, i pay around 400 with Esure but i used a comparison site recently for my renewal and privilege came up cheaper.
not 100% sure about the spoiler myself, looks bigger but i don't have a comparison, wheels are same and i have the splitter too.
sorry about the thumbnails, i really should use photobucket or the like.
Nice pics mate, i have driven my brothers around before now and i think they're pretty good, nice compromise to get 1.4 sport model too, bit different from all the 1.2's that people usually get.
Hope you enjoy it :)
Mpg can be good, maybe 35 if you're lucky.......more like 20-25 if you're like me though....well worth the extra fuel costs to boot it now and again.
Lowest mpg would be around 18 iirc
Hi mate welcome to CS
Such a tragedy to attach the words "scrapage scheme" to such a fine car, looks really nice, i'm sure the 200 will make you smile even more though :)
Hello Mate and welcome to CS
you're definately the first person i've met to say you bought a clio because you wanted something bigger :)
I wanted something smaller.....hence the clio, my last car was a land rover discovery.
only major gearbox problem i have heard of is jumping out of fourth but...
Hello mate, welcome to CS :)
just bought an 04 plate 182 not long ago myself, one thing to check would be the exhaust, originals tend to fall off after not so long, i checked mine and sure enough the previous owner to me had the centre section welded back together even though it's still...
Hello Mate, welcome to CS
My brother bought an X reg 1.4 sport model this time last year for £1400 so i recon you got the price about right, his has been really good so far, no probs at all, the only mod he made to it was to put a janspeed backbox on it, so now it runs good, looks good and...
A much better idea would be to use the American way and have a seethrough shrink wrap film fitted on the front end, can't tell it's there but does exactly the same thing, probably cheaper than the bra too.....
i use a trolley jack and put a block of 4" thick timber under each wheel.....the extra height is enough to change an exhaust system with.....much cheaper than ramps.
I would ask a guy on here called Matt at mtaudio, if anyone knows the best stuff to put in a clio it will be him, he just sorted me and my brother out with stalk controls for our clio's.
Welcome mate, car looks really nice, hope you enjoy it!!!!
if you need help with your audio see Matt at Mt audio on here, he just sorted out a stalk control adaptor for my 182 when no else could, knows his stuff.
Technically the only golf to beat a 1*2 in a straight is the mk4/5 r32 but the mk5 gti will almost match it exactly on paper, as for interiors, i have a FF 182 and the interior is top notch.
S3's are only superior in a straight line because of the 4wd system, they get the power down much...
