Lol, okay, I think I will order it up from Renault then, fit it myself, and hook up the secondary one, not the one with the acoustic valve, just leave that off,

Think I will stick with a standard one TBH and get a good panel filter,
Because i just have a cone filter ATM, can I just get the airbox from renault? or will I need other bits?
How much more difficult is it to fit the V6 box then? Is it something I can do myself with every man tools and a bit of common sense, I don't really want to pay £60 to have it fixed by the garage.

Right, following my Questions about Induction kits etc. I went into Renault and they can provide the standard airbox for about £100.
Shall I do this and put the car back to how it was, or look into something else, not to worried about the noise anymore, just don't want to be loosing unnecessary...

But yeah, claying would remove the tar, SRP wouldn't do anything as it is a 'filler' polish rather than a cutting polish,
Waxing after SRP would be a good idea, as SRP's protection is quite limited,
And don't use a leather shammy...
My rear plate fell off somewhere last night, so need to order some new ones ASAP, any good websites that will do them? Do I need all my documents to order them?

Where is the best place to get this kit? Cheapest place? Can I order it online from somewhere? Will I get everything I need in the kit, cold air feed pipe etc?

So should I get a Pipercross or similar that is often used on 172's or get an Espace V6 airbox?
Also do I have to remove a fog light to get direct cold air intake, or is there another position it can go?
Yeah I think I will, Is the espace V6 one gonna be better do you reckon? Shall I get one straight from Renault and fit it myself? Or get a standard one from Renault?
Thought about the espace box, but I do quite like the sound I get from the current one. Although if I were losing bhp then it would probably be worth it . . . what other good induction kits are there then?
I have had this on the clio since I bought it, does anyone know what it is, is it anything descent, or a cheap n nasty halfords special?
I'm thinking about performance, will it benefit from changing to a pipercross or something else, or just stick with this?
Aerial wasn't there when I got it, that will be the first thing to do I think. Doubt I will be modding it, maybe just a couple of small cosmetic things, but nothing major.

Hmm, yeah got an engine cover, but it sounds like something on the left hand side, almost near the glovebox/ wheel arch, is a rattle but also sounds like it is something metal vibrating, only when I am accelerating or just lifted off in the mid rev range.
I've got a strange noise coming from what sounds like the left hand side of the engine bay, after accelerating to about 3000 - 4000 rpm, when I lift off, there is a rattling noise. Almost sounds like it is coming from the left wheel arch?
Any ideas?
