Well discovered, when I did mine :oops: I used to clean my vinyls with the stuff :oops: Nowt petrol cant shift :D That and a box of matches ;)

Ronson lighter fluid, the petrol one. Apply with a cloth and it sould remove it with out a trace !!! Make sure you keep the windows open thou ;)

What about the fuel pump...... I only say this as mine died on the freelander today and it sounds pretty much the same !!! PS. the 172 does have a fuel pump right ??? as i dont have a haynes manual, not because im a girl, but because haynes dont make one :oops:

The R-Sport Cup at donny had a new manifold, new cam, lovered suspention (coil overs) diffrent brakes and the ECU of course.... Not very specific, like i said :cry: but it gives you an idea, that its more than just the ECU !!! Oh and a whacking great bonnet vent !!!
