doesn't sound right, my mate has a 172 cup, I have a 182FF, whenever we go out for drives there is really nothing in it (and thats with a boot full of work stuff)
mine is a bit less snappy with 95 petrol in, so that might have had something to do with it? wouldnt go as far to say it made the...
Illegal or not I'd go for A
russ, how did the police react to the velcro plates on that one occasion? I would have thought they could still fine you anyway.. still not got round to registering my plates to my 182 yet - mainly because I dont want anymore fuss from the police, they love it...
Anyone going to Rockingham? Think I'm going to try and get to them all this year, only managed Oulton park last time round!
Out of interest - is the guy with the red 197 with the "VXR" sticker on this forum? that made the traffic on the way out much more bearable, especially as he parked...
love it - i think the bonnet looks fine as it is :)
still yet to see a liquid yellow about, I'd been after a 182 for over a year before I got mine, and I don't think i've ever seen one in that time!
good effort :)
dont know what diesel clios are like for spitting out smoke, my old saab used to pour it out when accelerating (when i say old it was a 54 plate) the new 330d's have straight twin pipes and they never seem to smoke for some reason, most other diesels seem to.
The point I'm...
great racing today - S22 JGS, sorry I didn't meet up with you lot, left my phone at home which helped lots..
I was watching the clio cup from druids, got a bit hectic at times! the view of 30 clios in a line, all up on 3 wheels is ace :D
I've got a few pics, but since i've only just got...
had a 1995 polo 1.4 for my first car,
then a 1.2 dynamique, which my brother now has
(next to my current car :p)
before the 182 I had a saab 93
bit of a change! (had to get a bigger car for work at the time)
on full lock mine sort of sticks there when you go to move off - which hasn't happened on any other car i've had - no rubbing though.
the sliders on my fan vents rattle, which is my only real gripe with mine
I've been wondering what a racing blue with white wheels would look like for a while now - will have to have a look when its done, looks like it'll be good though :) I'd probably have painted the badges white rather than smoothing them and having them blue, sure itll look well :)
Oh, I...
they dont fit great - there is a gap between the wing and the bumper.
shouldn't wheel spacers be added to the list? ive seen a couple with 182 wings, and its pretty obvious looking at the front that the wheels are set in too much
It was like this when i was driving the the czech republic - they seem quite big on their kitted out mk2 gti's, and it seems pretty standard to make a third lane out of a single carriageway, no matter how fast they are driving! was quite glad to get back without being crashed into!
no specs on the snakes pass - they have made a bit of it 50mph though..
I'd be up for it, probably only for half the run, might aswell take my bike and go riding and make a full day of it :)
they are fine - i use mine to get the majority of the water off, then use a chamois for the rest of the car.
The only way you'd cause any scratches with one is if you hadn't washed and rinsed the car well enough - there is no other reason, grit is a lot less likely to stick to silcone than a...
Don't know what the weather in manchester is like today - but from what i can see here its a good job it held out!!
snow blizzards in march.. doesn't leeds look lovely
I was thinking about it too - I know its not legal, but can they give you points for it if they feel like it? really dont fancy another 3 for my collection!
