in the never ending pursuit of more power im thinking internal mods to my williams lump, im sure i read that the williams cams are already fairly wild, i would like a decent increase, who has had this done to a williams lump and were the increases substantial? and was it still low down power it...
my willt engined 16v hasnt got the legs it needs but is lively to 60, but the fact remains if your have paid money for a williams box thats what you want to be fitted, take it back
if they look OK they proabably are, you will need (and with hill power will get) new bolts, there is no skill in fitting as its an exact fit with no adjustment, its just four very awkward bolts, or 3 awkward and one real pain in the ass bolt, if you need to cut them try an angle grinder, i grind...
i snapped one, didnt notice much differnce before and after replacing it, an ARB bush is noirmaly a very easy thing to change but renault engineers in thier infinite wisdom decided they wouldnt leave the tead long enough so you really need to compress the bush (not easy due to loacation) i...
suspension is the same,as far as i am aware aprt from a slightly wider track at the front (not strictly suspension)
im on about power delivery, not out right power, of course if you did the same to a willaims the power would be more, but that isnlt my point, im talking about the...
after having has a 16v engine and a williams engine in my valver i think if you could make williams power from the peeky short stroke valver engine it would be a better car, more integra like, torque is great for easy lazy driving but the de-stroked F7 is a screamer and therte are people on here...
Robbie said drive round in circles on full lock and if it knocks your drive shafts are on thier way out, he certainly knows what hes talking about, and drive shafts are easy to replace proived nothing has been damaged inside the box
go for the whole panel, it will look seemless, but trying to chase all over the roof will filler would take hours to look reasonable, new roof is fairly simple, but i have no idea wat the panel would cost
there is more to a de-cat then you would think, there are (like di says) flanges in there to ensure they fit properly, the hill power one fits absolutly perfectly, id be suprised if all the others, did, Mild steel is better IMO, stinless look nice but you cant see it anyway,
better employ a security guard wehen its finish Nick, if some thieving toe rag gets hold of it it would be heart breaking,
we must be talking a 5 figure sum for that lot
sorry for being rude, but thats alot of work
williams head has 32mm inlet valves, 16v and megan have 30mm, not essential for massive power but depending how far you go it could restrict the engine
iw as watcing RalluUK on the telly and the same thing happened, an old clio was beating the new WRC imprezza on tarmac! is was wonderfull stuff then it crashed out,
did the maxi use the 2ltr F7R hence the williams going into production? anyone know the spec of the F7R? is was a joy to watch...
Pucklechurch is alright, agreed with BenR its a bit isolated but most of the time thats nice, byt then again without traffic i can be in the centre in under 15mins,
so yes Ben name a convienent place round whiteladies where you can park a bike.
The barter economy was rife in the tyre place...

this site really fecks me off at times, yet again i type a detailed responce and go to post and it fails and the posts is lost,
anyway will talk sunday, have a few possible ideas, try removing and refitting the filler cap when stone cold to start with.
yes if you have the ECU then it might well plug straight in but i know ECUs vary, my 16v is ealry and the williams engine is very late but then i used a chipped standard ECU, you know what im going to ask know? how much, be honest mate because you have done well to find one at all,
i stumbled...
willy brakess are the same and totally up to the job IMO but will fade if pushed very hard, if not the the max torque group N discs abnd pads, they are cheap and good,
where you get the willy lump from mate? thye are rarer then hens teeth
TB1 agreed, the thing that amazes me is the CTRs, they have been tested on the same day before and after fitting of an induction kit and chip and they make 20+BHP its astonishing
my willy lump went in chipped,s/s exhaust, induction kit so i have nothing to compare it with but i would be very...
