Never owned one myself or know that much about them, just going on 2 mates that have had them. Both bought new Cooper S's in 2003, one had for six years and other still owns now, never really had any major grief with either, couple of minors.
Got to be more reliable than a Clio anyway!!
I know you're paying for the reliability, but I really don't think the premium price for both Civic Type R and Cooper S is justified. Mate haw just paid 4k for an early '02' Cooper S...
It doesn't matter if pic is on silver clio or another colour mate. They will look shat and de-value the appearance of your car by about £500. My advice, do not buy or fit!
Always looked a stunner on couple of times I saw you in Wakefield pal, credit to you.
Times and circumstances sometimes dictate buddy. I haven't had a clio since last August now, due to other things been more important at this time. Hopefully not be too much longer though.....

Never had a 182, but tbh I think with your budget a 182 with Cup packs and belts done is within your grasp, and as its french, would go for something as new as your budget allows. If 3.5k is budget then cars up at 3.8ish....
Just read through whole thread after Giraffe posted link. Wow, absolute top drawer mate! Looking at when you bought and where it is now is immense, hat off to you!!!
Keep hold and stop these Cup thoughts, really would be a backward step mate after all time and hardwork. Good place in Leeds, RS...
Sky used to dish out white Netgear routers, instead of those shoddy Sagems. My Sagem was black and looked like a mini Sky box. My Sagem caused me nothing but grief, to the point where I was gonna change to BT. Had a look on ebay for a Sky netgear, got one for about a tenner, straight swap...
