Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I'll be up so will ring just incase.
Not sure whether to get it delivered home and sort out contract online, or can you pre-order from a shop?
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I mean buy the new phone. Not "upgrade" with an offer like they offer now.
Thats my bad with the terminology I used sorry.
No. As I've said, I wouldn't buy myself out (or upgrade with an early offer) next time round. I will buy...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Your not listening. I havent said that I will be upgrading again next time. I will more than likely keep the contract going next time, buy the iphone5 on PAYG and move over to simplicity around december 2011)
02 are only offering...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
No, cuz whatever happens after next June/July is completely irrelevant. The iPhone is released on a 12monthly Schedule. So that's how I structure my cash - Around 12 months. I'm not guna work out anything after that cuz its...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Re-read my post mate. I know there isnt a 12 month option.
As I stated, there will be another iPhone in 12 months time, so I'm working out paying it off over 12 months (as I will 100% upgrade next time round too)
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
For me, based on new tariff (300 @£35) and current phone costs, all inclusive, paying the phone off over 12 months (as there will more than likely be a new one in 12 months) and 12 months worth of tariff costs (forget its a 18month...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
ill be buying out my contract and selling 3GS if the prices released are the same as the current. With the monthly savings, will cost me nothing for the 4.
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
The cost to end early is £20 per month for each month remaining on your contract.
Then you have to buy the phone at whatever price it will be for new customers on the tariff you choose. These prices have not been announced yet.
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I've got a friend who's facebook status is:
"£240 to end contract early, just sold 3G for £230...iPhone4 for £10!"
Obviously they misunderstood the deal.......when shall I tell him?
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Seems O2's site is 'down for maintenance' so wonder if that is iPhone updates or general stuff?
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Ive never done it before, but can you pre-order (with the intention for despatch/delivery for release day) on PAYG handsets?

Just thought I'd mention, anyone who is worried about the MMS situation, there is a fantastic app called "Whats app" which lets you send MMS etc to anyone who has the app installed. It costs £0.59, but at the cost of less than 3...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
That is insane money. I thought it was £450 lol.
I dont mind if MAX it is £499....but wow thats costly.
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
You've got 2 options really Gareth:
A - Sign up to an 18 month contract for £35 per month and pay for the phone (we dont know the price yet)
B - Buy a 4 on PAYG and go onto simplicity for £15-£20 per month.
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I've just gone through 12 months of bills (online)
I use the phone EVERYday* to browse online, and have only exceeded 500mb once (511487 bytes)
*but, this is mainly at home (i.e. wifi)
Not impressed with having to pay 20p per...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I'll hold off to see what the prices are before I make a decision on where the 3GS is going. Cant imagine 3 weeks without one........
