Going flat out at it u could have it out and the new 1 in in bout 15hrs. I had to replace mine and it took about that. My mate who's a renault mechanic did it tho so maybe leave a couple more hrs to do it. This included stripping the engine apart and replacing cam belts, clutch etc.
Any ideas as to the cause? It seems to stall when depressing the brake and clutch when the engine is cold. Never seen anything like this happen before so I'm a bt confused.

It's normally the Pre cat sensor that goes as they get the most abuse, hottest fumes etc. Not sure how to test the signal, but a diagnostics test will tell you, u'll need a computer to put the light out anyway!
You can only recieve 1 fine, so when he said you get a 30 quid fine for each ligh he's lying. If you get caught speeding with your foggys on he'll only do u for speeding. Unless they take you to court and do ya for both!
