Brilliant read, lovely wee car you've got there!
Lyn sounds like the perfect woman!! I wish my girlfriend would buy me all these parts for my car! :rasp:
Seen a flame red 172 in Rosyth, Fife in Park Road, had an unpainted front bumper and CS sticker on drivers side rear window. I was waiting to turn right onto Park Road, was in my instructor's black Corsa at the time doing a lesson (i'm with Eezydrive).
Was at about quarter to 5ish.
Who was it!!
Mines is only £1k a year for a 1.2 Dynamique, but I'm only a provisional licence holder so I dread to think how significantly it will rise when I pass my test.
Seen a blue 172 on Hospital Hill in Dunfermline about half past 1 this afternoon.
Was unfortunately on the back of a recovery truck, was a 53 plate.
I'm sure it was the Cup but it had standard 172 alloys. The badges and bullets were painted yellow and it had a '172 Inside' sticker on the back...
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (172 kit plus smoothing)
I'm sorry to say this but I'm not a fan of those wheels at all! :dead:
I do however love those lights! Where are they from?
Saw a silver non-Sport mk2 ph2 (not sure if it was a Dynamique or an Expression or what).
Had aftermarket wheels and looked lowered with tinted windows, was a 52 or a 53 plate. Was driving on Hospital Hill about 1:25pm yesterday (24th Feb).
Didn't notice a sticker because it was on the other...
I suspect that this is a fairly common fault but the passenger side front corner of the headlining in my ph2 Dynamique was soaking wet when I got into it tonight.
I had an inkling that it was the sunroof but the lining round about that was fine, and the wetness is only above the passenger door...
Haha, a guy on my bus has one, he actually thought it was the dogs! Came with a stylus (:S) and had no Apple logo on the back, and just said "Phone" at the bottom haha!
They're cheap and nasty though and the UI's are horrible.
Re: The PH1 172 Aprreciation Thread.
I don't live far away from you at all my friend! The bridge is a common sight for me!
And is there a particular reason why everyone puts ph2 tail lights on them?
Re: Jealous scummy low-life w**kers.
That's shocking mate! Real bummer, I'm not surprised that your pissed.
What you could do before investing all that cash in on a respray is to get the T-cut out and give it some good old elbow grease at least, like Curley said some of them just leave dust...
Very pretty in red! Just look out for all the usual, signs of accident damage (mismatching panels, close/no shut lines etc) and check it has all the history etc.
It's worth texting its reg to that mytextcheck (83600) to make sure it has no outstanding finance.
