Neal,
I too live in Warfield.
I have seen Druddles 172 about the place (he lives in Bracknell) you dont happen to sometimes park in the newly built estate in Warfield do you...visiting someone or somthing...cos Ive seen a silver mk2 172 parked up a couple of times in my estate...
Paul
Yeah!
I only ever put 10 quid in a time in the clio which lasts me a week usually depending on how much I use it.
Might have to do a bit more driving to fill it up more often now

You should get another 98k out of it, if you change the oil every 4k and keep it well maintained...remember prevention is better than cure...ie replace somthing before they break completely!
I know of a 19 16v that did 212k on the original engine, before the rings finally let go. Even then...

Well u cant expect miracles from a 1.4 engine can you.
The Citroen units are well developed, and pretty good for their size really. Im not a Saxo fan, but the engines are pretty good....light no fires, but still pretty good.

Magnet, were not shooting you down, I am just amazed at the price. I however admire you for getting an oil change done, as a 12k interval is ridiculous.

Note the mileage and try to leave it as empty of fuel as possible so that they dont know whether they will run out or not. I was the same, but my car goes nowhere near any garages but my own now.
Dunno whther the 172s have a fuel warning light, but try to get it on at least.

Not paying for looks!
If the packaging aint any good, whos gonna buy it? Proofs in the pudding, how many do you see on the roads?
Theyve ruined the Impreza for good. Maybe a good drivers car, but its bloody ugly to look at which is important to alot of people.
