Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

I used RE050 in the wet with 4wd and 350bhp, didn't fill me with much confidence. That was 2007 though, so they might have changed since then.

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

If it's wet they'll be pap. I've used so many over the years. Direzzas for summer/track, Conti Sp Ct 3 for winter/road.

Re fitted standard steering wheel now having trouble

I've only had mine off once to fit my OMP boss, from memory there's a fatter spline at the bottom (6 o'clock) that you line up.

Was it pretty tough to slide on? I imagine you've got the wrong spline, but I don't know how you've managed it!

    Bilstein/H&R Front Shocks

You should try the specialist parts team at ECP, they're the UK distributor for Bilstein (or at least, they used to be.) But tbh, any Bilstein reseller should be able to source you the right parts. VE3-A338 is the P/N you want for front Billys...

Clio 1.2 UCH Fault / Questions

Certainly not true on 172s. I've had mine off multiple times, I'm not even running the one the car came with. Companies like BBA Reman can fix UCHs, look them up. Also, I assume you've checked the basics (fuses and relays) for faults?

    For people who run slicks...

Heat cycles are important too, as are spring rates, damper settings yadda yadda. I'd be buying Direzza's over part worn slicks and 888's.

B14's are surely waayy too soft for slicks?!

    Autosport show 2015

Thanks for sharing Mark, great pics in there. I wish they'd do something about that f**king red carpet, it ruins white balance lol. It's been the same for years! The show looks a little less dense compared to previous years..

Looking for a font. (numbers on the MK3 RS clocks.

For 9, just rotate the 6 180deg. For 0, edit the 8 in Illustrator.

890LC ? Yeah Dave's is super tidy! Definitely hides it's mileage well. What's VBOA? I know Dad's often gets confused for the Vauxhall Heritage car as the registrations are so similar - just one number different.

It's quite incredible that when you're in it, 98% of people barely give it a single glance. Then you get to PHSS, or Breakfast Club, or wherever and it becomes the centre of attention!
