there's always talk about show plates and 3D plates on FB car groups.
a chap the other day was saying he paid £65 for some 3D show plates, which seemed expensive to me.
at my previous house my workshop was an old garage.
cold concrete floor and 1mm thick plastic roof, it was freezing. in the depths of the winter there would be ice on the inside of the roof.
I got a cheap wood burner from clarkes, I couldn't cut wood fast enough to feed it to keep the place...
simple, 3d print a plastic block to go on the pedals to get matching heights and then use my heel and toe pedal to go on top to increase the width of the accelerator
me and my old man share also, saves me buying stuff some times ;)
I buy stuff and it goes straight into my workshop and the wife doesn't see it. she is also not allowed in my workshop :) she has no idea what money I spend (waste)
ive spent loads on ebay this week on effectively tools. ive...
the trouble is, is I buy tools that I don't need. I get this from my dad, I see a nice tool and think hm I might need that at some point in life and then buy it. they normally sit around brand new for a long time before I use it.
