the upper alpines have a large internal amp inthem (4x22rms I believe) which needs decent power so you need a seperate fused wire. Go for at least 16 guage for extra safety.
However if you are runing without the H/U amp then its fine, just press the F button down and move to IRC power turn it...
Def Leon Higher quality of car although not as much fun I would suspect.
It will have stronger residuals as well and you can have a lot fo fun with that turbo engine !
ensure you have made a new earth on the chassis fort the amp and also double check your RCAs they can go faulty no matter how good they are
your H/U can also cause this, try making a new live and earth feed for it
Just use 4 awg cable to a distribution block then 2 4awg to the amps
mind and earth them both to the same point using 4awg
as for the remote it should be fine but it is a small wire so you might need a relay available from maplins
I am running 2 400WRMS amps and its fine
Was a good day, had to leave early though the 1am start got the better of me!
The Ecosse 306 was scary fast, didnt get a look buy it didnt sound like it had a turbo so who knows what it was?!?
Got sunburn as well
The bottom line is thats the figure they gave him.
SPL is so dependent on so many things, not just wHoweveroofer size and watts powering it.
Position, efficency of the sub, box size, port length etc
I am sure that if you measured a lot of other cars on the same mic you would see much...
I agree I was only getting 139 with 400 RMS into a vented 12 inch DL MW12 with the engine on, so about 136-7 with it off I reckon
On the new mics I will prob only be around the 131 mark :-(
However anything is possible ;-)

at the place where I play squash on a monday in Stockbridge area of edinburgh
Is it you???
Those Halfrauds kits are an expensive way to go
You will need 4-5 layers of that to make it strong enough plus resin for plugging the gaps etc and MDF
It is very easy to do however, everyone should have a go however dont fdrive the car straight afterwards you will get very high
see threads on engine mounts that is a usual cause of banging
strange it is only in reverse though, might be a stability rod
Does it knock when you accelerate hard in first gear?
Well its coming along very slowly
But DLS Ultimates in pods in the front doors (Replacing these JL Audio VR600CS which are for sale)

Use your boot carpet as a template for the bootsection
Make it in 2 bits so you can fit it in and out of the car
Mega easy to scratch your interior though
I will post a pic...
