Got a question about CAD, ask in this thread and im sure someone in the know will anwser. heres my first question, how do i raise the dimensions so when i look from top view i can actually see the lines. as currently they go under the object

ive always used IE i dont have any issues with it, apart from now

ive never had a problem with IE always worked fine until today. rather than suggestions of getting rid of IE anyone know how to solve the actual problem?

as of today when ever i click on a link my laptop wont open a new window to display that web page. reset the computer a few times but its made no difference. i can open as many windows as i like its just when i click on a link nothing happens. even if i do a right mouse on the link and click...

so i have my object i type extrube and select the object. i then type 10 as i want it 10mm high, i then get stuck when it asks for Specify angle of taper for extrusion <0>

whoop whoop a mates dad just gave me autocad 2006 with a license code. ive been watching some beginers videos, but you need to watch every single thing in order to pick out the one or two bits i actually need. any cad experts wana give me a hand over teamviewer?

Its a manual mill so it only does square stuff (well apart from the round holes I drill) what's the rough cost of ArchiCAD? Just had a quick look at google sketchup on my fone and the pro versions is $500

As a minimum id like to be able to sketch something in 3d to scale then export a dimensioned version with all the measurements on it. Its for the parts I mill on my milling machine.

Does that allow you to do anything with the drawing once you have finished? Like save as a pdf or a jpg? Will take a look at lunch cheera

seems to be happening more and more often that when i turn my head lights on they dont come on or only one comes on. if i turn them off then straight back on both come on just fine. anyone got any clues?
